At the recent Sensors Expo, ADI brought the ADAF1080, a high-precision magnetic field sensor for the industrial market, to achieve non-contact monitoring of high currents in large motors, transformers, cables, and other equipment with excellent magnetic field detection accuracy, linearity, and low noise characteristics.


The ADAF1080 integrates signal conditioning functions, including an anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) sensor, signal conditioning amplifier, electrical offset cancellation, integrated diagnostics, and analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) drivers to accurately measure magnetic fields up to ±8mT. In addition, ADI also demonstrated the OtoSense intelligent motor sensor solution, which integrates five self-developed sensors and can initially diagnose nine abnormal conditions of the motor, providing strong support for predictive maintenance of industrial equipment.
